Lake & Line · the managed service

One clear service. Kept useful.

A professional website for your business, with the hosting, monitoring, support and small improvements handled after launch.

01 / The simple answer

What the monthly service does.

No surprise handoffYou are not paying for a website and then being left to remember how it works. The service keeps the important parts moving.

01

Build it around the business

We shape the message, pages and primary action around what your customers need to understand.

02

Keep it healthy

Managed hosting, SSL, analytics and monitoring keep the site observable after it goes live.

03

Keep it useful

Human support and monthly Change Credits make small, worthwhile updates easier to handle.

02 / The boundary

Included work, clearly separated.

Scope you can understandThe standard service covers the essentials. Larger work is not quietly bundled in or started without an agreed scope.

Included in the managed service

  • Up to 5 agreed standard pages in the initial build
  • Responsive design, managed hosting and SSL
  • Contact or quote form
  • Basic on-page SEO foundations
  • Analytics and monitoring for each managed site
  • Human support and 20 Change Credits per paid month

Scoped separately when needed

  • New pages, major redesigns or substantial content work
  • Online stores, booking systems and custom functionality
  • Domain registration or renewal fees, unless agreed
  • Third-party provider or platform costs
  • Work outside the standard service boundary

The managed service uses no minimum term. The approved service agreement sets out the final cancellation, transfer and handover wording before service begins.

03 / The fit

A clear website, with someone staying close.

A useful starting pointThe managed service is designed for businesses that want a professional site without taking on the technical work themselves.

A good fit when

You need a simple site to do its job well.

  • You want a clear home for your business, services and contact path.
  • You would rather have hosting, monitoring and small updates looked after.
  • You are comfortable starting with a focused standard build and improving it over time.

Talk it through first when

The website needs a larger or more specialised build.

  • You need an online store, booking flow, membership area or custom integration.
  • You need many pages, a major redesign or substantial content production.
  • You need a specific third-party platform or workflow to be part of the service.

04 / How it starts

A steady route to launch.

No pressure to guessWe can start with a conversation, a free homepage concept or a clearer service-fit direction before anything becomes a build.

  1. 01Tell us what is not working

Share the business, customer and website context that matters.

  2. 02Start your subscription

Billing is confirmed before Lake & Line begins managed build work.

  3. 03Complete the brief

Give us the useful details, assets and direction through the portal.

  4. 04Review before launch

See the website, request changes or approve it before launch is confirmed.

05 / The timing

The next timing becomes clear as the brief does.

No invented deadlineThe useful timing depends on the agreed scope, the information and assets available, and how quickly review decisions can be made.

01

Confirm the fit

We clarify the business, the customer action and whether the standard managed service is the right starting point.

02

Gather what matters

Once the subscription is confirmed, the private brief, content, assets and any useful clarifications set the real build context.

03

Review the direction

Lake & Line shares the website for review before launch. Any larger scope, dependency or delay is explained rather than hidden.

This is an operating explanation, not a guaranteed turnaround or response-time SLA. Lake & Line confirms the next timing once the scope and useful inputs are clear.

06 / What to expect

A human next step, each time.

A calmer service experienceThere is a clear owner for the next part of the journey. You do not need to work out which tool, provider or page to use next.

01

After your first note

We usually review new notes within one business day and come back with the next useful question. That reply may be a question, a useful starting point or a recommendation to take a different route.

02

Before build work

Lake & Line confirms the subscription before managed build work begins. Your brief can be saved while that confirmation is completed.

03

Before launch

You see the website before launch, can request changes, and approve it explicitly before it goes live.

04

After launch

After launch, support, monitoring and small agreed updates continue through the same managed service.

This is the current service expectation, not a guaranteed response-time SLA. Final operating commitments belong in the approved service agreement.

07 / The ongoing rhythm

A useful site has a next month.

What happens after launchThe managed service gives the website a clear job each month, without turning routine care into a project-management exercise.

01

Check the essentials

Hosting, SSL, monitoring and enquiry paths stay visible so issues can be found and handled.

02

Keep the message current

Use your monthly Change Credits for small, worthwhile updates to existing pages and content.

03

Review useful signals

Where provider data is available, a plain-language snapshot can show visitors, pageviews and recorded contact actions.

04

Ask for help when needed

Bring questions, changes or a new priority to the same Lake & Line support path.

Any snapshot reflects available analytics and monitoring data. It is not a ranking, sales, booking or traffic guarantee. Reporting is introduced carefully and depends on the connected provider data for each managed site.

08 / Useful answers

The questions worth asking first.

Is there a large upfront build fee?

No. The current offer uses a $0 upfront standard build and AUD $129/month for the managed service.

Do I own my domain?

Yes. Your domain remains yours. Registration and renewal fees are separate unless they are specifically agreed as part of the scope.

What happens after launch?

Hosting, SSL, monitoring, analytics, support and small website improvements remain available through the managed service.

What if I need something larger?

New pages, stores, booking systems, integrations and major redesigns are scoped separately with the work, timing and third-party costs made clear first.

09 / Start with the useful question

Does this fit the job your website needs to do?

Tell us what you do, where you work and what you want customers to do next. We will help work out the right starting point.
