Lake & Line · clear boundaries
A managed website should make responsibilities clear. This is a plain-language overview of how Lake & Line separates client access, private service data, billing and website operations.
This page is an operational summary, not a security certification or a promise that any internet service is completely risk-free.

Client access is authenticated and tenant-scoped. Portal and server routes check the signed-in role and account relationship before returning client, website, support or project data.
Support attachments use private storage and time-limited download links issued only after account authorisation. We do not publish customer support files as public website assets.
Stripe handles subscription checkout and billing records. Lake & Line does not ask for card details in the portal, and client billing actions return to authenticated Stripe surfaces.
02 / Shared responsibility
No hidden handoffLake & Line manages the website service; your business remains in control of its domain, public content and account decisions.

May process information under their own terms, privacy practices and legal obligations. Some use infrastructure outside Australia.
